“تراث” – love letters to home

With “Torath”, I invite the viewer on a personal journey through Arab identity, resilience, and cultural transformation. My collection reflects where I come from and questions how culture survives under pressure, from colonisation to displacement. As an Arab living abroad, I explore the struggle between pride and misrepresentation. Through fashion, I reclaim space for Arab voices, challenge stereotypes, and celebrate a culture that remains powerful despite being marginalised.

I’m a 22-year-old fashion designer based in Berlin, passionate about exploring the connection between fashion, culture, and identity. My work is deeply personal—I use design as a way to tell stories, reflect on heritage, and create space for cultural dialogue. In 2025, I graduated as best graduate from AMD Berlin, where I studied fashion design. I’ve been actively involved in the Berlin fashion scene, gaining experience with brands like Platte.Berlin and Moriyama Projects. Through these roles, I’ve developed skills across design, production, project management, events, PR, and brand activation. For me, fashion is more than clothing—it’s a way to connect, question, and express who we are.
