The Allora collection explores the principle of rediscovery as a creative strategy. It originates from an engagement with creative overload, decision fatigue, and the desire to leave no possibility unexplored. The conscious revisiting of memories, materials, and techniques serves as a means of creating orientation and clarity within creative abundance.

The collection works with existing resources: archived materials, textile leftovers, historical silhouettes, and previously developed techniques are recontextualised, combined, and further developed. Reduction is understood not as an aesthetic principle, but as a conscious decision-making strategy within the design process – a way to structure and navigate complexity. At the same time, this approach gives rise to a sustainable practice that foregrounds the value of materials, craftsmanship, and what already exists.

Visually, this principle is expressed through recurring floral motifs, evolving silhouettes, and an emotionally driven colour palette rooted in personal memory. Materials and surfaces move between softness and structure, transparency and stability, making transformation and variation tangible.

Allora serves as an archive of rediscovery – a collection demonstrating how memory, conscious decision-making, and a respectful engagement with existing resources can give rise to something new and beautiful.

Sophia Wimmer studied fashion design in Berlin, where she now works as a designer and customisation artist at the intersection of fashion, craftsmanship, and sustainability. Her creative focus lies on experimental textile surfaces, vibrant colour composition, and knitwear design. For her, sustainability is not a theoretical concept, but a lived practice of appreciation: it is about making the value of craftsmanship tangible again, and blending conscious design with the lightness and passion of the creative process.
