Die Liebe – ein universelles Gefühl, das seit Anbeginn der Menschheit Kulturen, Epochen und kreative Ausdrucksformen prägt. Sie ist Sehnsucht und Schmerz, Hoffnung und Rausch – ein Thema, das in der Literatur, Kunst, Musik und Philosophie immer wieder neu verhandelt wird. Auch meine Abschlusskollektion ist aus genau diesem Spannungsfeld heraus entstanden: „Love and all its faces“ versteht sich als persönliche Auseinandersetzung mit der Liebe in all ihren Facetten – inspiriert von antiken Liebesmodellen, weltliterarischen Figuren und meinen eigenen Erfahrungen.

Die Kollektion untersucht, wie sich emotionale Zustände und Liebesstile in eine textile Sprache übersetzen lassen. Farben, Formen und Strukturen entstehen aus Begriffen und Verhaltensweisen, die mit unterschiedlichen Arten der Liebe verbunden sind. Sechs Outfits – konzipiert als Paare – bilden das Zentrum der Arbeit. Sie spiegeln das Wechselspiel zwischen Licht und Schatten, zwischen Euphorie und Zerbrechlichkeit wider. Ein modisches Experiment über die Kraft der Gefühle – und den Versuch, das Unfassbare greifbar zu machen. Love is a universal feeling that has shaped cultures, eras, and forms of creative expression since the beginning of humanity. Love is longing and pain, hope and intoxication—a theme constantly revisited in literature, art, music, and philosophy. My final collection also emerged from precisely this area of tension. „Love and All Its Faces“ is a personal exploration of love in all its facets, inspired by ancient models of love, literary figures from around the world, and my own experiences. The collection explores how emotional states and styles of love can be translated into textile designs. Colors, shapes, and textures emerge from the concepts and behaviors associated with different types of love. Six outfits, conceived as pairs, form the centerpiece of the collection. They reflect the interplay between light and shadow, euphoria and fragility. It is a fashion experiment about the power of emotions and an attempt to make the intangible tangible.

Ursprünglich wollte ich Physik und Mathematik unterrichten – der Weg in die Gestaltung war zunächst ein spontaner Impuls. Doch schnell habe ich gelernt, meine naturwissenschaftliche Denkweise in eine kreative Sprache zu übersetzen. Genau das macht meinen Designprozess einzigartig: Für mich muss alles sinnvoll und bedeutungsvoll sein – durchdacht, logisch, ohne Lücken. Ich plane sorgfältig, tüftle ausdauernd und gebe nicht auf, bis das Ergebnis konzeptionell, ästhetisch und funktional schlüssig ist. Was mich auszeichnet, ist meine Liebe zum Detail, eine große Portion Fleiß und die Bereitschaft, auch einen langen, manchmal steinigen Weg zu gehen. Mode ist für mich mehr als Ästhetik – sie ist Ausdruck, Reflexion, Verarbeitung für das was mich bewegt. Ein Ventil für persönliche Themen. Jede meiner Arbeiten ist ein Teil von mir – das gilt besonders für meine Abschlusskollektion. Mein Masterstudium begann mit einem gebrochenen Herzen und endet in einem beflügelnden Liebesrausch. „Love and all its faces“ ist meine ganz persönliche Verarbeitung dieser emotionalen Reise.

Originally, I wanted to teach physics and mathematics – the path into design was initially a spontaneous impulse. But I quickly learned to translate my scientific way of thinking into a creative language. This is exactly what makes my design process unique: for me, everything has to make sense and be meaningful – well thought out, logical, without gaps. I plan carefully, tinker persistently and don’t give up until the result is conceptually, aesthetically and functionally coherent. What sets me apart is my love of detail, a great deal of hard work and the willingness to take a long, sometimes rocky road. For me, fashion is more than aesthetics – it is an expression, a reflection, a processing of what moves me. An outlet for personal issues. Each of my works is a part of me – this is especially true for my final collection. My master’s degree began with a broken heart and ended in an exhilarating rush of love. „Love and all its faces“ is my very personal processing of this emotional journey.
