Reverie of Rebirth – Hochschule Reutlingen

My bachelor collection, Reverie of Rebirth, explores the relationship between humans and nature. It is inspired by the children’s novel The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett, in which the healing power of nature plays a central role. This idea forms the conceptual foundation of my collection. As part of my research, I examined how nature affects human beings and the ways in which this influence shows. I also explored what the human relationship with nature looked like at the beginning of humanity, how it has evolved over time, and what perspectives I envision for our future. During the design process, it was especially important to me to emphasize the transformative power of nature. To achieve this goal, I worked with organic shapes and silhouettes, soft color gradients, and lightweight, transparent fabrics.

I am a fashion design student currently completing my master’s degree at Reutlingen University. I am particularly passionate about experimental approaches and the creative exploration of materials and construction techniques. Through the development of my own textiles and an experimental design process, I create unique one-of-a-kind pieces. At the same time, I place great importance on high-quality craftsmanship, as I consider it an essential aspect of good design. I draw inspiration from literature, my surroundings, and exchanges with other people. The impressions, emotions, and stories I gather are translated into new and distinctive design works.
