Imbued with ethereal charm, the collection embodies the enigmatic allure of the unknown. It beckons the beholder to explore the intricacies of a world yet to be fully understood, provoking thoughts that transcend the boundaries of imagination. The garments serve as a portal to a realm where boundaries blur, where the tangible and intangible converge in a mesmerizing display of artistry. „Liminality“ durchquert die tiefen Welten von künstlicher Intelligenz und virtueller Mode und verbindet diese technologischen Sphären mit der zeitlosen Eleganz menschlicher Handwerkskunst.Das harmonische Zusammenspiel menschlicher Kreativität und künstlicher Intelligenz generiert einen ständigen Fluss von Inspiration. Die Kollektion orchestriert dabei eine Symphonie von Technologien wie 3D-Scannen, 3D-Druck und die Kunst der Bekleidungstechnik, sowie des Couture-Handwerks, welche mit den grenzenlosen Möglichkeiten von KI verflochten werden. Durchdrungen von ätherischem Charme verkörpert die Kollektion den geheimnisvollen Reiz des Unbekannten. Sie lädt den Betrachter ein, die Feinheiten einer Welt zu erkunden, die noch nicht vollständig verstanden ist und in welcher Grenzen verschwimmen, wo das Greifbare und das Ungreifbare zusammenfließen. „Liminality“ entfaltet sich als eine komplexe Darbietung für das harmonische Nebeneinander von Natur und Künstlichkeit.

Marlon Ferry is a multidisciplinary fashion designer whose creative spirit manifests through the seamless fusion of technological innovation and artisanal expertise. With his passion for exploring new technologies and techniques, such as 3D printing and AI and by mixing unconventional materials within his designs, he creates progressive looks that blend streetwear influences with couture craftsmanship. Inspired by the otherworldly realms of virtual reality and the hypnotic allure of AI, his work is a testament to the harmonious coexistence of the natural and the artificial. After an internship at the pristine atelier of Iris van Herpen in Amsterdam, he started to study for a master degree in Fashion Design at Reutlingen University and debuted his first runway show last year at Neo.Fashion 2022. Now mainly based in Berlin, he showcases his master graduate collection titled “Liminality” at this year’s edition of Neo.Fashion.

Marlon Ferry ist ein multidisziplinärer Modedesigner, dessen kreativer Geist sich in der nahtlosen Verschmelzung von technologischer Innovation und handwerklichem Fachwissen manifestiert. Mit seiner Leidenschaft für die Arbeit mit neuen Technologien und Techniken wie 3D-Druck, virtueller Mode und KI, sowie durch die Mischung unkonventioneller Materialien in seinen Designs, kreiert er progressive Looks, die Streetwear-Einflüsse mit Couture-Handwerkskunst verbinden. Inspiriert von den tiefen Welten der virtuellen Realität und der undurchdringlichen Funktionsweise von künstlicher Intelligenz, entfaltet sich seine Arbeit als ein kreatives Exempel für die harmonische Koexistenz von Natürlichem und Künstlichem. Nach einem Praktikum in dem Atelier von Iris van Herpen in Amsterdam, startete er sein Masterstudium in Modedesign an der Hochschule Reutlingen und debütierte auf der Neo.Fashion 2022 mit seiner ersten Runway-Show. Nun hauptsächlich in Berlin ansässig, präsentiert er bei der diesjährigen Ausgabe von Neo.Fashion, seine Master-Absolventenkollektion „Liminality“.
