Die Kollektion „fluid body“ befasst sich mit dem Thema der sozialen Identität und ihrer Veränderung. Insbesondere geht es um die Frage der Geschlechtsidentität. Starre Definitionen, was männlich und was weiblich ist, werden teilweise außer Kraft gesetzt. Durch das Verschieben des Kleidungsstücks am Körper bekommt es Raum, und weibliche Merkmale, wie die Brust, verschwinden. Identität kann und wird durch Kleidung nonverbal kommuniziert. In der Kollektion sind Stoffmuster und ihre Assoziationen ein wichtiger Bestandteil. Stoffmuster wie Tweed, Tartan und Nadelstreifen sind Teil der Kollektion. Diese Muster und ihre Assoziationen, zum Thema Identität und Geschlecht, werden bewusst eingesetzt und in einen anderen Kontext gestellt. Die Kollektion ist eine Auseinandersetzung mit Identitätszuschreibungen in Bezug auf Kleidung, Textilien und das Spiel mit deren Assoziationen. Dabei werden Definitionen typischer Geschlechterzuordnungen aufgelöst und neu interpretiert.

The collection „fluid body“ deals with the topic of social identity and its change. In particular, it deals with the question of gender identity. Rigid definitions, such as what is male and what is female, are partially invalidated. By moving the garment on the body it gets space and female features, like the breast, disappear. Identity can and is communicated nonverbal through clothing. In the collection, fabric patterns and their associations are an important component. Fabric patterns like tweed, tartan and pinstripes are part of the collection. These patterns and their associations, on the theme of identity and gender, are deliberately used and placed in a different context. The collection is an examination of identity attributions in relation to clothing, textiles and the play with their associations. In the process, definitions of typical gender assignments are dissolved and reinterpreted.

Kreatives Arbeiten und die Arbeit mit dem Körper interessiert Leona Anderson seit vielen Jahren. Die Verbindung von Kleidung zum Körper, wie sich ein Kleidungsstück anfühlt, was es emotional auslöst und wie sich Kleidung und Körper gegenseitig beeinflussen sind Themen ihrer Projekte. In ihrem Studium hat sie sich insbesondere mit Form und Textilien stark auseinandergesetzt. Das Herstellen eigener Textilien, insbesondere Strick, hat sie in ihren Kollektionen umgesetzt und in einem Praktikum bei Christina Seewald vertieft. Zudem interessiert sie sich sehr für Schnitt und Formveränderung, welche sie in CLO3D erstellt und in Photoshop verändert sowie mit optischer Verschiebung der Körperproportionen experimentiert.

Creative work and working with the body has interested Leona Anderson for many years. The connection of clothing to the body, how a garment feels, what it triggers emotionally and how clothing and body influence each other are themes of her projects. In her studies, she has been particularly involved with form and textiles. She has implemented the production of her own textiles, especially knitwear, in her collections and deepened this in an internship with Christina Seewald. She is also very interested in cut and shape modification, which she creates in CLO3D and changes in Photoshop, as well as experimenting with optical shifting of body proportions.
