About me:
Nach meinem Studium an der Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee und Präsentationen im Rahmen der Berlin Fashion Week erweitere ich durch Inszenierung und Handwerk die Grenzen meines künstlerischen Ausdrucks. Ich verstehe Kleidung nicht nur als ein funktionales Objekt, sondern als ein sinnlich erfahrbares Medium, das bleibt, um wirken zu können. Zwischen Mode, Kunst und Bühne wird ein Material und die Auseinandersetzung damit immer wieder zum zentralen Motiv: Tüll wird in unerwarteten Erscheinungsformen transformiert und bildet die Grundlage für eine eigene, wandelbare Ästhetik – eine Ästhetik, die nicht nur betrachtet, sondern erlebt werden kann.
After completing my studies at Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee and presenting my work during Berlin Fashion Week, I continue to explore the intersection of presentation and craftsmanship as a means of expanding the scope of my artistic practice. I consider clothing not simply as a functional object, but as a sensorial medium – as something that endures in order to resonate. Within this framework, tulle emerges as a recurring material focus. It is transformed into unexpected appearances and it becomes the foundation of a distinct, shape-shifting aesthetic—one that is not only seen, but experienced.
About collection Multipliancy:
When it comes to the collection Multipliancy, working with tulle is a meaningful way for me to approach both the material and the concept. Multiplicity is complexity – and it’s also a process of layering. The pliancy of the material allows the depth of layering that mirrors the conceptual complexity of my work. It becomes a medium for articulating multiplicity. In my case, I only arrive at clarity through layering. By working with tulle, I engage with it on an artistic level, using a translucent material to explore an otherwise elusive and inscrutable field.
Wenn es um Vielschichtigkeit geht, ist die Arbeit mit Tüll für mich ein Weg, sowohl das Material als auch das dahinterliegende Konzept zu erfassen. Vielschichtigkeit ist Komplexität – und zugleich ein Prozess der Schichtung und der Überlagerung. Die Biegsamkeit des Materials erlaubt eine Tiefe der Schichtung, die die konzeptuelle Komplexität meiner Arbeit reflektiert. So wird es zum Träger einer Ästhetik der Vielschichtigkeit. Klarheit entsteht in meinem Prozess nicht durch Reduktion, sondern durch Verdichtung und durch die Überlagerung des Stoffes. Durch das Arbeiten mit Tüll setze ich mich auf künstlerischer Ebene damit auseinander – mit einem durchscheinenden Material, um ein sonst schwer fassbares und undurchschaubares Thema visuell scheinen zu lassen.
