MIND.UG is an Ugandan based upcyling and recycling fashion brand focussing on denim wear and accessories. It was founded in 2018 by the Dutch artist Jente Wester, she translated her talent for collage art into textile design by combining Kitenge (African Fabric) off cuts into a colorful patchwork. Composing every little piece of fabric, she creates unique designs on authentic denim pieces. By sourcing its production in Uganda, MIND.UG translate the lively and exotic vibes of the Pearl of Africa into fashionable and funky styles reflecting its vibrant environment. ABSCHLUSS: 2020/2021
