Die Kollektion »Smart Guy Protector« beschreibt eine sich als männlich identifizierende Person aus Sicht des Female Gaze. Dabei werden Geschlechterklischees sowie zugehörige Schönheitsideale hinterfragt und aufgebrochen. Fiona Gohrke dekonstruiert tradiert maskulin konnotierte Kleidungsstücke und schafft so ein neues Männerbild zwischen Fragilität und Zurschaustellung. Dieser Ansatz drückt sich konkret in unscheinbaren, mit Weiblichkeit assoziierten Details, Schnittlinien und Materialien aus, den den einzelnen Kleidungsstücken behutsam neue Bedeutung abringen.

The collection „Smart Guy Protector“ describes a person who identifies as male from the perspective of the female gaze. Gender clichés and associated ideals of beauty are questioned and broken up. Fiona Gohrke deconstructs garments with traditional masculine connotations and thus creates a new image of men between fragility and display. This approach is expressed concretely in inconspicuous details, cut lines and materials associated with femininity, which are carefully given new meaning in the individual items of clothing.
