EMOTIONS – ‘the art of fashion’
Emotions are a necessary part of our lives and fundamental to the human experience, influencing every facet of our lives.
Almost everyone has felt emotions before, from the moment we take our first breath, we normally experience a variety of emotions that shape our perceptions, interactions and memories. Nearly everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances, has felt the warmth of joy, the sting of sadness, the rush of excitement or the grip of fear at some point in their lives.
Due to the fact that emotions are something that so many people can relate to, I have decided to create a collection that uses them as a foundation. The Collection exists to convey the different emotions through color, materials and design elements in the form of clothing. I wanted to take the emotions as an inspiration for the individual outfits, so every outfit can represent a different emotion. Additionally I created different artworks for each emotion I chose, that would serve as the creative foundation of the collection. In the end a collection was made that is based off of ‘painted emotions’.

Emotionen sind ein notwendiger Bestandteil unseres Lebens und grundlegend für die menschliche Erfahrung, da sie jeden Aspekt unseres Lebens beeinflussen.
Fast jeder hat schon einmal Emotionen erlebt, denn vom Moment unseres ersten Atemzugs an erleben wir normalerweise eine Vielzahl von Emotionen, die unsere Wahrnehmungen, Interaktionen und Erinnerungen prägen. Fast jeder, unabhängig von seinem Hintergrund oder seinen Umständen, hat irgendwann in seinem Leben die Wärme der Freude, den Stich der Traurigkeit, den Rausch der Aufregung oder den Griff der Angst gespürt.
Da Emotionen etwas sind, mit dem sich so viele Menschen identifizieren können, habe ich beschlossen, eine Kollektion zu erstellen, die sie als Grundlage nutzt. Die Kollektion existiert, um die verschiedenen Emotionen durch Farben, Materialien und Designelemente in Form von Kleidung zu vermitteln. Ich wollte die Emotionen als Inspiration für die einzelnen Outfits nehmen, sodass jedes Outfit eine andere Emotion repräsentieren kann. Zusätzlich habe ich verschiedene Kunstwerke für jede von mir gewählte Emotion geschaffen, die als kreative Grundlage der Kollektion dienen sollten. Am Ende entstand eine Kollektion, die auf ‚gemalten Emotionen‘ basiert.
About me
My name is Deviana Brobeil, I am 23 years old and come from the Stuttgart area. My great passion is art, especially painting.
In June of this year, I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design. During my studies, I particularly specialized in draping and painting. These skills enable me to transform my artistic ideas into wearable works of art.
The combination of art and fashion excites and inspires me daily to create artistic and aesthetically appealing designs. My goal is to further develop my creative vision and establish myself in the fashion industry.

Mein Name ist Deviana Brobeil, komme aus dem Raum Stuttgart und bin 23 Jahre alt . Meine große Leidenschaft gilt der Kunst, insbesondere der Malerei.
Im Juni diesen Jahres habe ich meinen Bachelor of Arts im Bereich Modedesign absolviert. Während meines Studiums habe ich mich besonders auf Drapieren und Malerei spezialisiert. Diese Fähigkeiten ermöglichen es mir, meine künstlerischen Ideen in tragbare Kunstwerke zu verwandeln.
Die Verbindung von Kunst und Mode begeistert mich täglich aufs Neue und inspiriert mich, künstlerische und ästhetisch ansprechende Designs zu schaffen. Mein Ziel ist es, meine kreative Vision weiterzuentwickeln und in der Modebranche Fuß zu fassen.
