As the world began to emerge from the shadows of lockdown, a profound shift in perspective unfolded – echoing through streets, homes, and the inner lives of individuals everywhere. The prolonged period of solitude led many on an introspective journey, gradually peeling back layers of identity to reveal a deeper understanding of the self. It became a time of renewal, in which holistic well-being moved to the forefront, reminding us to care not only for the body, but also for the soul.

Emerging from this context, Soulful reflects a collective transformation in how everyday life is perceived. Fashion is understood here as a cultural language shaped by lived experience. The collection translates inner values into material form, using silhouette, fabric, and colour as subtle expressions of meaning. Its colour palette moves between darker tones, referencing challenging and uncertain times, and lighter hues that speak of growth, healing, and new beginnings.

Inspired by holistic health and slow living, Soulful focuses on sensory awareness. Natural materials, considered colour compositions, and fluid structures create garments that respond gently to the body, supporting calm, grounding, and presence.

Soulful becomes an invitation to reconnect with oneself, to carry inner strength outward, and to express individuality with clarity, confidence, and balance.

Whilst studying fashion design, Anna Lara Dimitrovski discovered her passion for her own original prints and the impact of colour, which today define her creative identity. This creative inclination is strongly inspired by her Mediterranean heritage and is reflected in the vibrant colour palette of her designs. Her master’s collection, ‘Soulful’, follows a holistic design approach that blends external and internal well-being, aesthetics and sustainability into a harmonious whole.
