THE GHOST FROM YOUR SHOE BOX – AMD Akademie Mode & Design
My passion for fashion began when I remember being able to hold a pencil in my hand and realizing that I could express myself this way as well. Since my verbal communication was weak and far too simple for my thoughts and feelings, I transferred them to paper and material to be
understood. To follow my voice, I decided to move to Germany to further develop and educate myself in this field. For me, fashion is a medium of expression through which I can articulate specific feelings such as worries or the desire for justice. This was also evident in my collection, where I tried to give a voice to the concerns of societythat burden us all.
The theme of the collection is the connection between fashion and morality, highlighting the impact of World War II and the similarities to current conflicts. In a critical moment for humanity, the threat of destruction by nuclear weapons reminds us of the lessons of the past that remain unlearned. The main inspiration is the Shoes on the Danube Bank memorial in Budapest, a symbol
of loss and the preservation of the memory of the Holocaust victims. Based on this symbol, the collection uses sneakers as a design foundation, combining modern elements (silhouettes, prints, applications from sneakers) with traditional shapes inspired by old shoes. This fusion creates a balance between the past and the present, providing not only aesthetic value but also a call
to reflect on human responsibilityin the face of crises
