Lena Grimm ist eine Modedesign Absolventin aus Pforzheim. Schon als Kind malte sie gerne Kleidung an Figurinen und bastelte Kleider für ihre Puppen, bis sie als Teenagerin das Nähen und Malen für sich entdeckte und so zum Design kam. Für sie war immer klar, dass Nachhaltigkeit in der Mode und Ästhetik Hand in Hand gehen müssen und nicht mehr getrennt voneinander betrachtet werden können. Die Inspiration für ihre Mode findet sie in der Natur, den daraus stammenden Materialien und vor allem der Rave Szene und dem Streetstyle.

Lena Grimm is a fashion design graduate from Pforzheim. Even as a child, she liked to paint clothes on figurines and made clothes for her dolls, until she discovered sewing and painting for herself as a teenager and thus came to fashion design. It was always clear to her that sustainability in fashion and aesthetics must go hand in hand and can no longer be viewed separately from each other. She finds the inspiration for her fashion in nature, the materials derived from it and above all the rave scene and street style.

„Versatility“ bricht die Vorurteile, die nachhaltige Mode mit sich bringt. Denn Nachhaltigkeit ist keine Ästhetik, sondern eine Selbstverständlichkeit. Es ist eine Haute Couture Kollektion, inspiriert an der Dark Techno Szene mit Elementen aus dem Streetstyle. Die Rave Szene ist bekannt für dunkle und eher kühle Ästhetik und vor allem aber für viel Polyester in beispielsweise Mesh, Kunstleder, Kunstfell oder auch Baumwolle in Jerseys oder Denim. Alle Kleidungsstücke der Kollektion bestehen aus Naturfasern, also Baumwolle, Leinen, Hanf und Wolle. Sie sind außerdem alle naturgefärbt mit Blauholz und Eichentannin.

„Versatility“ breaks the prejudices that sustainable fashion brings with it. Because sustainability is not aesthetics, but a matter of course. It is a haute couture collection, inspired by the dark techno scene with elements from the street style. The rave scene is known for dark and rather cool aesthetics and above all for a lot of polyester in, for example, mesh, artificial leather, artificial fur or even cotton in jerseys or denim. All garments in the collection are made of natural fibers, i.e. cotton, linen, hemp and wool. They are also all naturally dyed with logwood and oak tannin.
