I Can See – Hochschule Pforzheim

The bachelor collection “I Can See“ challenges conventional notions of quality and the way mistakes are treated within the creative process. At its core lies the tension between value creation and value appreciation.

Guided by the principle, “design follows making“, he approaches design as an open, material-led process. Quality does not emerge from perfection, but from honesty, transparency and the unfolding of the creation process itself. Mistakes become productive impulses and craftsmanship, time, and materials are deliberately made visible and tangible.

As a fashion designer and graduate of Pforzheim University, my work operates at the intersection of traditional craftsmanship, material research, and conceptual thinking. I am particularly interested in the often invisible processes and systems that shape design.

In my creative practice, I view materials not as passive tools, but as active collaborators within the design process. Rather than seeing clothing as a mere product, I understand it as a carrier of time, experience, and personal history. My goal is to explore sustainable forms of value and authenticity in fashion that extend far beyond short-lived trends.
